Celebrate World Lupus Day on May 10th

Since 2004, lupus organizations around the globe have conducted activities on May 10 to raise awareness and educate the public about the symptoms and health effects of lupus.

“Together we can make lupus an international health priority and to ensure that people with lupus around the world are diagnosed and treated effectively.”

Lupus WA invites you to its World Lupus Day lunch to help raise awareness about lupus and to celebrate the 15th annual observance of World Lupus Day all around the globe.

A global health problem, lupus affects people of all nationalities, races, ethnicities, genders and ages. While lupus knows no boundaries, knowing all you can about lupus can help control its impact.

Lupus Purple Ribbon

Lupus is more pervasive and severe than people think, and has a devastating impact that the public doesn’t necessarily realize. In fact, research shows
that a staggering two-thirds of the public knows little or nothing about lupus.

You can help others change this. Watch this space to see how you can join the nationwide effort to PUT A SPOTLIGHT ON LUPUS this October.
